The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday decided to include former resident Pervez Musharraf in Benazir Bhutto’s murder probe.
It also sent a 32-page questionnaire for final approval to the Interior Ministry in this regard.
FIA officials said the investigation wing covering Bhutto’s murder case formed the questionnaire, which mostly consists of questions related to the security arrangements provided to the late premier.
There are also questions related to the steps taken by the Interior Ministry during Musharraf’s era, which are now being exposed in the form of contradictory statements.
Meanwhile, DG FIA Waseem Ahmad confirmed that the questionnaire will be sent to Musharraf after the interior ministry’s approval.
