Federal Law Minister Babar Awan on Sunday said that the corruption was on the rise in the Punjab and the educational institutions were on the sale in the province, Geo News reported Sunday.

Babar pointed out that when Nawaz Sharif said that there was corruption in the country he is right because the biggest province has been mismanaged none other than by his younger brother, Shahbaz Sharif.

He was addressing the party workers at Lahore. He was very critical of Sharif brothers' Raiwand palace.

He suggested to Nawaz to announce the date for holding of local bodies elections. The minister said his party was not following the policy of reconciliation because we were scared of anyone.
