LAHORE: Pakistan cricket teamís opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad returned home after the injury which forced him out of the test match against New Zealand, ARY News reported.

Talking to media, Shehzad said that he will try his best to become a part of the playing eleven in the third test adding that doctors have given him three weeks time for recovery.

Talking about the incident, Shahzad while referring to his team and managementís support said that when he was hit, it seemed like the ball injured 25 people not only him.

Answering a question, the batsman claimed that team learnt a lot from T20 and ODI series defeat against Australia.

The 22-year-old, who made a career best 176 in Pakistan`s first innings total of 566-3 declared, was hit by a bouncer during the second day of the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
