Chasing a low target of 212 runs against minnows Canada, Aussies openers Watson and Haddin provided dominant start and scored 94 and 88 runs respectively before the first wicket fell at 183 in 28.5 overs. But, Aussies comfortably chased the target in 34.5 overs. Osinde, Baidwan and Davison picked 1 wicket each.


Earlier, Canada won the toss and elected to bat first. Canadian openers provided good start after Patel scored half century. Building the innings for a competitive total, Bagai and Surkari played responsible knocks. But no other batsman could resist against the quality bowling.

Lee picked 4 wickets while Tait and Kreja took 2 wickets each, restricting Canada to a minor total of 212 runs.
