President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday took notice of the energy crisis in the country and summoned the chiefs of power companies and concerned authorities to Islamabad Monday. According to sources, the president said that the power shortfall, which has hiked up to 6,000 megawatts, is completely unacceptable. Loadshedding in major cities has reached up to 12 hours, while certain rural areas are facing up to 20 hours of loadshedding a day.
