what can we give to Allama Iqbal on this very day.

* can we assure the better future of pakistan.

* can we assure that we will not elect govt on the base of familyizm. or due to our own benefits with a particular party.

* can we assure that our leaders will only think about the interest of pakistan. not their own.

or we will again waste this day as we had done in past. and just enjoy the day as a public holiday...

As elsewhere, the 132nd birth anniversary of poet-philosopher Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal will be celebrated here on Monday.

Various organisations have organised functions to mark the day.

The Sahar Foundation has initiated the "Farogh-i-Fikr-i-Iqbal" campaign.

Speech and the painting contests have been organised for the students on the occasion.

Meanwhile, in his message on Iqbal Day, Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that Allama Iqbal was a great poet and philosopher of not only the sub-continent but also the Muslim Ummah.

He said the poetic work as well as the teaching of Iqbal serves as a beacon.

Qaim Ali Shah said that Pakistan was the vision of Allama Iqbal, which our great leader Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah translated into reality.
