ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Saturday asked Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Chudhry Nisar Ali Khan to withdraw his unparliamentary remarks he used against the Army and security agencies.

In a statement issued here, he said, Chaudhry Nisar should appologize with the nation as he insulted the whole nation and the Army by passing such derogatory remarks.

The minister said the Army and security agencies were rendering unmatched sacrifices to safeguard frontiers of the country.

Rehman Malik said he would take up the matter in the National Assembly on Monday requesting to expunge these remarks from proceeding of the House.
