LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said there were both good and bad generals in the army and similarly in politics we have both kinds of politicians, Geo News reported.

In his address at the oath taking ceremony of Electronic Media Reporters Association and Electronic News Cameramen Association here, Shahbaz said whether the mess was political or dictatorial 'we will feel relieved only after eliminating both'.

Criticising dictatorial rules in the country, he said one general had broken up the country while the other assassinated Nawab Akbar Bugti.

The Punjab Chief Minister said although both the military and his team performed services during flood situation in the country but regretted that the latter's efforts were projected less by the media.

He said Pakistan People's Party candidate Waheeda Shah's getting physical with the polling staff made the country look bad in the eyes of the entire world but the Sindh government appeared insensitive even after the candidate's footage had kept on repeating on TV screens for 48 hours.
