QUETTA: Three more missing persons were recovered in Quetta on Monday following the directives of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry. They went missing from Killi Ismail area of Quetta three weeks ago, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to sources, Akhtar Lango, Doctor Naseer Baloch and Hafeez Rodini went missing from Killi Ismail area of Quetta on April 1, 2012 after which their relatives approached the Supreme Court for their recovery. Police, however, failed to find and produce the three men in SC on April 16.

The three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry expressed anger over the police failure and gave the deadline of April 17th to recover the missing persons and produce them before the court.

DIG Operations Quetta Qazi Abdul Wahid told Geo News that the three missing men had returned home on Monday night.

Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry while hearing the case of deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan has directed the police to recover the three persons went missing from Killi Ismail.

Chief Justice also warned that he will suspend the Superintendent of Police and concerned officials if they failed to recovery the missing people.

It is pertinent to mention that ten missing persons have been recovered in Quetta in the past ten days following the Supreme Courtís directives.
