A two-day photo exhibition of Pakistani photojournalists began in Tokyo (Japan) on Saturday.

The exhibition is being organized at Pakistani Embassy as a part of the “Pakistan Week,” to celebrate Pakistan Day falling on March 23.

The exhibition was inaugurated by President Japan Professional Photographers Society, Tanoma.

Pakistan Ambassador to Japan, Noor Muhammad Jadmani, Deputy Chief of Mission, Imtiaz Ahmed, senior journalists, photojournalists of Japanese print and electronic media and a large number of people belonging to Japanese and Pakistani community participated in the exhibition, says a message received here.

Around 200 photographs of the leading photojournalists have been put on display.

The exhibition is being held in collaboration with online “Urdu Netpodcast” and Pakistan Association of Photojournalists(PAPJ) This is the first of overseasexhibition of Pakistani photojournalists that features the photos several photographers Mohammed Zubair, a member of Pakistan Association of Photojournalist based in Tokyo has lauded the valuable support ofPakistani Ambassador to Japan, Noor Mohammed Jadmani.

Jahangir Khan, another member of the photojournalist body expressed his happiness over the landmark achievement of the body to hold a photo exhibition in Japan. (APP)
