LOS ANGELES: Known TV host Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain has said that Ishq-e-Rahool (PBUH) demands sacrifices. He said personal logic and proposals do not matter and one has to submit oneself to the orders of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as part of one’s faith.

Delivering lectures in different parts of Los Angeles, he said an Ashiq-e-Rasool (PBUH) is always ready to sacrifice his life. He said love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) requires the lover to follow his path.

He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the leader and his is the right path, adding that the path that self shows is the path of distraction. He said the root cause for decay of Muslims is that they prefer their logic to the ordains of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Dr Aamir Liaquat said the people who seek relaxations in the religion should keep in mind what will become of them if on the day of judgement, the Almighty refuse to give them relaxation. He said Islam had spread because of courtesy of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and not by sword.

He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) did not dispute with the questioning people because he knew that they would be wooed back through love. He said Muslims have hurt the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by introducing violence in not only religion but all aspects of life.

Dr Amir Liaquat said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) told people the ways to repent while “we do not miss an opportunity to humiliate others”.He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only hid faults of others but also prayed for their forgiveness but “we disclose others’ faults and curse them”.

He said Muslims would be unable to understand the spirit of Islam and message of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) until and unless they refine their ethics.In the end, Dr Aamir Liaquat recited Na’at and prayers upon demand by the audience. He will now deliver lectures in New York and New Jersey.
