slamabad: Famous and one of the most credible journalists in Pakistan, Syed Talat Hussain, has turned down the offer to become federal interim minister of information from the office of caretaker Prime Minister Mir Hazar Khan Khoso.

According to details, official personals from the office of caretaker PM tried to approach Talat over his phone on Friday evening, told a close quittance of Talat.

I am talking on behalf of Mir Hazar Khan Khoso. You (Talat Hussain) are our first choice to be the interim federal minister of information, said an official while speaking to Talat.

However, Talat straightforwardly declined the offer and said that he was busy in net practice of cricket on which official responded, We will call you back after ten minutes so you can think over it.

Even after ten minutes you will not hear anything different from me, was the answer of Talat Hussain.

Syed Talat Hussain has been working as a journalist for over two decades now. He is among one of the most watched and praised journalist in Pakistan. Known for his blunt stances on issues and asking tough questions from politicians, Talat is the pioneer of television talkshows in Pakistan.
