Dr Amir Liaquat warns terrorists of Godís wrath
KARACHI: While expressing sorrow over the martyrdom of innocent police personnel as a result of assassination attempt on Sindh High Court (SHC) judge Justice Maqbool Baqir, Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain said that happening of such a gruesome act of terrorism just after hours of Shab-e-Barat and few days before the start of Ramazan is point of ponder for every Pakistani and is highly condemnable.
Dr Amir expressed these views while hosting Geoís renowned programme ĎAalim aur Alam.í He said that happening of such terrorism incident was not expected few days before Ramazan but perhaps there was no respect of month or religious values for the terrorists. He further said, ďWe are welcoming Ramazan with the slitting of throats which is worst kind of act.Ē
Dr Amir made sympathetic appeal to the terrorists that yet there was a time to bow their foreheads before God otherwise they should remember the grip of God is very severe. He expressed condolence with the bereaved families of deceased personnel and said the impression that the cops are corrupt is not correct because their condition is so pitiable that they are living from hand to mouth.
While thanking the viewers on getting public recognition and extraordinary success of Geoís Shab-e-Barat transmission, Dr Liaquat said that all the channels in the media industry deserve admiration for holding Noorani Mehafils during Shab-e-Barat.
Later, on the demand of host and audience, renowned Naat Khawan Hafiz Ahmad Raza Qadri recited naat, which is highly appreciated.At the last part of the programme, famous spiritual personality Maulana Bashir Ahmed Farooq Qadri told the solution of problems in the light of Quran and Sunnah. While answering the questions of the viewers he said that recitation of ĎSurrah Muzamilí protects us from calamities and recitation of ĎYa Hayi Ya Halimí protects us from jaundice and other diseases.Later, Dr Amir Liaquat said that a remarkable transmission is going to be presented on Geo in connection with Ramazan after a few days.
