KARACHI: On the 13th Ramazanul Mubarak during the Geo’s especially live transmissions ‘Amaan Ramazan’ host Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain had highlighted migration of the victims of Lyari due to gang war, violence and terrorism.

On this occasion the heirs of late Shoaib Ishaq and Muhammad Ibrahim, who were killed by terrorists on stopping illegal activities and extortion, were present along with families who were compelled to migrate due to terrorism from Lyari. The affected families narrated the pathetic tales with tears rolling in their eyes, which also made audience sad and gloomy.

The affected families said that they were forced to leave their ancestral streets where their forefathers passed their lives as the extortion and war of occupation of the areas made their life miserable. They said that the people were slaughtered there like goats and sheep.

On it Dr Aamir Liaquat said that it was not correct impact to think that restoring law and order and bringing tranquility in the terrorism-hit areas was not possible. He said that this issue could be solved in a few days if the government was sincere and took decision by setting aside political interests, but the priorities of the government were something else.

Meanwhile, Dr Aamir Liaquat condemned the desecration of shrines of Muslims in Syria.The audience became sad when they saw nine-year Manahil who was suffering from skin disease. While seeing the condition of the child Dr Aamir Liaquat announced to bear all expenses of her operation on behalf of Sultana Foundation and he won hearts of the audience.

In the meanwhile, Muhammad Zaman, father of children who suffered from mental diseases, were given Rs50,000 and ration on behalf of MSF.The family of Rizwan Ayan by showing his pictures, who was kidnapped by unknown persons, appealed to the kidnappers to release him. On the other hand several precious prizes were won by the audience and viewers through draws and by answering questions on Islam.
