From Islamabad to Istanbul to Washington, DC, demonstrators took to the streets on Monday to denounce Israel's attack on the "Freedom Flotilla" carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Palestinians in the occupied territories and inside Israel also demonstrated, clashing with Israeli police and soldiers. Jews and Palestinians protested the raid together in Tel Aviv. Thousands rallied in Paris and other European cities.

The largest crowds reportedly appeared in Istanbul, where some 10,000 people marched against the killing of their fellow Turks on board the Mavi Marmara.
