Pakistan said that issue related to Iran’s nuclear program should be resolved through reconciliation and the international community should hold dialogue in this regard. While talking to DawnNews on Wednesday, the Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit said that Iran has the right to pursue a peaceful nuclear program, however, Iran should rectify the concerns shown by the international community. Basit said that the issue could only be resolved through dialogue and added that sanctions would only increase tensions. Answering a question, he said that there was no pressure on Pakistan regarding the Pak-Iran gas pipeline project and that the fresh sanctions imposed on Iran will not affect the project.—DawnNews
