Assailants shot and killed an 18-year-old and hurt three others in late night armed clashes in Ancholi area, Geo News reported Thursday. As a result of the killing, enraged people surrounded several houses and exchanged fire leaving the area 'no go' for the police. Meanwhile, police reached the area and arrested some agitators. Earlier, police restored to aerial firing to disperse the activists of two religious parties in Ancholi and Federal B Area. The tension began when a religious group took out a rally near Water Pump and chanted slogans against their rival group. Within no time, members of the other group also reached the scene and pelted stones. Governor Sindh took serious notice of the situation and instructed police officials to take all measures to bring situation under control.
