Punjab Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan has announced to set up two Sasti Roti tandoors at the Governor House for the residents living within its premises as well as the governor.

Talking to the media at the Punjab Assembly here Thursday, he said the tandoors would be set up with special instructions to provide fresh roties to thegovernor twice a day.



He said that a substantial amount of Rs42 billion, about 25 per cent of the total uplift programme, had been allocated for the development of the Southern Punjab for current fiscal year. More funds will be allocated in the next budget for expediting the ongoing development process in the Southern Punjab, he added.

Earlier, addressing a luncheon hosted in the honour of newly-elected office-bearers of Press Gallery of the Punjab Assembly in the cafeteria of the assembly here on Thursday, Rana Sana said that approximately Rs105 billion had been spent in the first 10 months on the ongoing development programme. The press gallery president, Zahir Shahzad, and secretary Shumaila Jaffri were also present.

Rana Sanaullah said that the schemes like Sasti Roti and Ramzan package would continue to reduce the burden of price-hike on the poor segments of society. (Sourced from: The News Intl.)
