Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that millions of rupees have been spent on education during the past years but still many institutions throughout the country lack basic facilities. Shahbaz claimed that he would allocate funds worth $6 billion to the education endowment board.


CM Punjab was addressing from the closing ceremony of the Youth Conference at Al-Hamara Hall in Lahore. He said that no one had the dare to ask question from the dictator during his tenure. He stressed on the fact that a nation cannot flourish until energy needs are not met. He alleged that 50 percent of the budget is lost to corruption.
Shahbaz urged the nation to follow in the footsteps of Quaid-e-Azam. He urged the youth to come forward and actively participate in the empowerment of the country. Shahbaz informed that the 15,000 new recruits have been employed in Punjab Police.
